The future of health services in Brooklyn was celebrated at the Brooklyn Hospital Center’s Third Annual Community Corporate & Legislative Breakfast on Tuesday, May 9.

The event, which was held at the Brooklyn Law School (205 State Street), featured Congressmember Hakeem Jeffries as the keynote speaker. Other participants included Gary Terrinoni, CEO and president of THBC; Leroy Charles, vice president of external affairs at TBHC; and an array of local civic and community leaders.

As part of the event’s theme of “Building Brooklyn’s Future,” the breakfast honored several attendees for their corporate and community service. Among the honorees were Raymond Ayala of JP Morgan Chase, who was presented with the Corporate Service Award, and Roberto Valentin, who was presented with the Good Neighbor Award for his advocacy with respect to childhood cancer and blood disorders.
