Cops seek two suspects wanted for robbery pattern in Dyker and Bensonhurst

Cops are searching for two suspects connected to a robbery pattern that occurred in both Dyker Heights and Bensonhurst on Monday, March 27.

According to police, at around 8:20 p.m. a 27-year-old man was attacked and robbed on 67th Street between 13th and 14th Avenues by the two suspects at which time one of the perps took out a knife and demanded his cell phone. After a brief struggle, the crooks took the man’s keys and fled the scene.

Around 25 minutes later, cops say the same suspects approached an 18-year-old man walking along 62nd Street between 15th and 16th Avenues, assaulted him and demanded his cell phone. This time, the duo successfully snagged the phone and fled the scene to an unknown location.

Both suspects are said to be black men, approximately 20 years old. One is said to be about six feet tall and 180 pounds while the other is described as being approximately 5’6″ and 150 pounds. The first was last seen wearing a black jacket and gray jeans while the second was last spotted in a black/gray jacket and blue jeans.
