Beachgoers flock to Coney for Fourth of July festivities

It wouldn’t be the Fourth of July in Brooklyn without Coney Island.

Coney was bustling on Independence Day, as beachgoers came out in droves to catch the free fireworks, as well as enjoy the sand and surf. The Stillwell Avenue subway station was also packed, as Brooklynites made their way from their homes to the Boardwalk.
