Coney Island’s very own New York Cosmos will benefit Life’s WORC and the Family Center for Autism on Saturday, July 29, showing support for a not-for-profit organization that has been relentless in providing services for people with developmental disabilities and autism.
Over 1,500 people in Nassau County, Suffolk County and Queens benefit from Life’s WORC and the Family Center for Autism’s services, including those with developmental disabilities, families of those with developmental disabilities and educators.
“We’re thrilled to be working with a world-class sports team,” said Victoria Schneps, founder of Life’s WORC and Schneps Communications, which publishes The Brooklyn Spectator, Spectator News and Home Reporter. “Every penny they raise for us will find a child who benefits from our services.”
Schneps was inspired to launch Life’s WORC after advocating on behalf of her daughter, who had special needs.
The Cosmos will take on Miami FC in MCU Park (1904 Surf Avenue) beginning at 7 p.m. Field box tickets for the game are $15 each, rooftop tickets are $30 each and suite tickets are $50 each. To purchase tickets, visit www.nycosmos.com/individual-tickets.
