A water main on Fourth Avenue and 68th Street broke Wednesday morning, leaving 200 households and 16 businesses without service for several hours.
More than a foot of water flooded the basement of the Federation of Associated Laconian Societies cultural center, according to CBS 2 News.
DEP crews repaired the pipes and restored service by 10:30 a.m.
