Thieves beat teen with belts

Three thieves slapped a 13-year-old boy with their belts and stole his sneakers on Fourth Avenue and 17th Street at 3 p.m. on Jan. 12. 

The suspects – two males and a female, all with dark complexions – fled into the Prospect Avenue station and caught an R train, cops said.
