A 74-year-old woman died Tuesday after she was hit by falling bricks outside a brownstone on Sixth Avenue and 54th Street.

Dale Singer was clearing snow from the steps at 12:20 p.m. when part of the building’s façade collapsed and hit her in the head. She was pronounced dead at Maimonides Medical Center.
