A man died after being hit by a northbound R train in the 53rd Street station Wednesday.
Witnesses saw the man running on the tracks at 2 p.m., cops said.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A week ago, a 23-year-old man was struck and killed by a southbound D train in the New Utrecht/62nd Street station.
