St. Ephrem Catholic Academy Presents the Tony Award-winning Musical, “Legally Blonde, Jr.”

January 11, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - January 13, 2019 @ 7:00 pm

St. Ephrem Catholic Academy is proud to present ”Legally Blonde, Jr.”, the award-winning Broadway musical based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer motion picture. Book by Heather Hach, Music and Lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin.

Harvard’s beloved blonde takes the stage by pink storm in this fun, upbeat junior musical about self-discovery. Based on the adored movie, LEGALLY BLONDE, JR. stays true to form with a peppy score and playful book. This musical is enjoyable from start to finish.

Elle Woods appears to have it all. Her life is turned upside-down, however, when her boyfriend dumps her so he can start getting serious about his life and attend Harvard Law. Determined to get him back, Elle uses her charm to get into Harvard Law. At school, she struggles with peers, professors, and Warner Huntington. With the help of Paulette and Emmett, though, Elle quickly realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world.

LEGALLY BLONDE, JR.: THE MUSICAL is perfect for middle-school theatre, featuring a large ensemble and several big song-and-dance numbers.

Come with St. Ephrem Catholic Academy and its talented cast on Elle’s journey from vapid Valley Girl to Valedictorian of Harvard Law School and have an immensely good time watching the transformation!
