Cops say a 25-year-old woman who fell ill during a taxi ride was robbed of her bag mid-trip earlier this month.

According to police, the woman briefly exited her ride on the northeast corner of Second Avenue and 55th Street on Monday, April 3 at around 9 p.m. to get sick. Reports further claim that, when she put her bag down beside her so she could throw up, a man on a bicycle rode by, grabbed the bag and rode off with it.

The bag contained nearly $2,665 in property including a laptop, various credit cards, glasses and more.
