Three men were arrested for stealing mail from a mailbox on the southeast corner of Fourth Avenue and 72nd Street on Wednesday, October 4. At around 1:30 a.m., cops say, a 41-year-old old man witnessed the three alleged perps, ages 31, 18 and 17, using a fishing device to get mail out of the box. They then fled northbound on Fourth Avenue. A police officer responded and nabbed the suspects, who were found with a check written for $1,775.
