A 34-year-old man was arrested on burglary charges for breaking into a woman’s apartment at Sixth Avenue and 57th Street on Monday, December 5.
According to cops, at around 11:05 p.m. that evening, the alleged perp used a knife to force open the door to the apartment and then kicked it down. Once inside, they say, the man displayed a knife and told the resident, “I am going to kill you.”
The man remained on premises until police arrived.
The victim hid from the alleged attacker in another room of the apartment until the cops came.
