Nominate your favorites for Best of Brooklyn

It’s that time of year again.

Our readers know Brooklyn better than anyone and now they have a chance to make their voices heard. The newly revamped Best of Brooklyn competition is the public’s chance to determine which businesses are the most outstanding.

Now in its fifth year, the Best of the Boro program has been rebranded Best of Brooklyn. Since its inception, the competition has grown to be a coveted award for Brooklyn’s best businesses, allowing the public to nominate and then vote for the best businesses in the borough in a wide range of categories and sub-categories in different rounds throughout the year.

Nominations are open now through July 29 in the following categories: Restaurants, Food, Bars and Nightlife. The 10 businesses that receive the most nominations in each category will make it into the round of voting beginning August 1 and ending on October 21 at midnight.

Hundreds of businesses are nominated and thousands of people vote each year, but there will only be one first place winner in each sub-category crowned BEST OF BROOKLYN.

Each business that wins earns the right to utilize the Best of Brooklyn logo that is promoted extensively through plaques, banners, print advertisements, digital marketing, social media, outdoor advertising, email signatures, business cards and so much more.

The Best of Brooklyn is a badge of excellence that distinguishes the most outstanding businesses as chosen by Brooklyn residents.
