Cops are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man, caught in surveillance video, who appears to be having a bit of a burglary spree in the 72nd and 62nd Precincts.

Police had previously asked for the public’s help with respect to a burglary at GML Accessories, 479 56th Street, on Friday, March 24 at around 4:30 a.m. In that incident, the crook entered the store by throwing a brick through a front window. When inside, the burglar stole approximately $5,000 worth of electronics, including 10 cellphones. He then fled the store, walking towards Fifth Avenue on 56th Street.

Police have since connected seven other burglaries to the same man.

On Monday, February 6 between 8:30 p.m. and the following morning, he broke into Phone Pros Inc., 2244 86th Street, through the front door, and stole several cell phones.

On Sunday, February 19, between 7 p.m. and the following morning, he broke in through the side window of Wei’s, 7622 18th Avenue and stole cellphones, cash and a cash register.

Two days later, on Tuesday, February 21, between 7:30 p.m. and the next morning, the man broke into Simple Mobil Solutions, 8411 20th Avenue, through the front door by clipping the lock to the security gate and stole cellphones, an iMac, cash and a computer hard drive.

Then, on Monday March 6, 2017 between 3:16 a.m. and 4:13 a.m., the same suspect broke in through the side window of New Way Grocery and Deli, 7302 18th Avenue, and nabbed a cash register.

On Sunday, March 11, between 10:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m., he clipped the lock to a security gate and broke in through the front door of Metro PCS, 5413 Eighth Avenue, but fled the location empty-handed.

On March 14, 2017, some time between 2 and 4 a.m., the man broke in through the front door of the Express Repair Shop, 2077 86th Street, and stole several cellphones.

Finally, on Monday, March 27 between 5 a.m. and later in the morning, he clipped the lock to the security gate and entered through the front door of Cyber Repair, 5504 Fifth Avenue, removing several cellphones before fleeing.
