The man cops believe is connected to a Monday, July 10 burglary in Bay Ridge.

Authorities are looking to identify a man they say burgled a Bay Ridge home earlier this week.

According to police, at around 6:40 p.m. on Monday, July 10, the unidentified individual entered a residence in the vicinity of Ovington Avenue and Sixth Avenue by breaking in through the basement door. Once inside, cops say, the man removed jewelry before fleeing in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a white man. He was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt and blue shorts.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).  The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then entering TIP577.
