WATCH: Police seek potential suspect in Bay Ridge burglary

Authorities are looking to identify a man they say burgled a Bay Ridge home earlier this week.

According to police, at around 6:40 p.m. on Monday, July 10, the unidentified individual entered a residence in the vicinity of Ovington Avenue and Sixth Avenue by breaking in through the basement door. Once inside, cops say, the man removed jewelry before fleeing in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a white man. He was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt and blue shorts.
