JAPAN RELIEF CHARITY

Under the direction of Justin Daniel, Neil LaBute’s playAutobanh will be presented on Thursday, April 7 at 7:30 p.m., atBrooklyn College’s Roosevelt Hall, Room 316. Suggested donation is$5; all proceeds will benefit the Japan Earthquake Relief.

TEEN NIGHT OPEN HOUSE

MEET THE AUTHORS!

Boulevard Books and Café, 7518 13th Avenue, will host two meetand greets. On April 15 at 6:30 p.m., meet author Luane Koknke, anaccomplished gourmet cookie baker, who will be promoting her firstbook, Gluten-Free Cookies. Kohnke will sign copies of her book anddemonstrate one of her recipes. Attendees will be able to createtheir own batter to take home, chill and bake in the morning. Andon April 18 at 7 p.m., the bookstore will host a cooking demo andtasting with local chef, restaurateur and author, Jamie-Lynn Molloof Jamie-Lynn’s Kitchen who will introduce recipes that are dear toher heart. CELEBRATE THE CULTURES OF BROOKLYN

THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE

On Sunday, April 10 at 2 p.m., The Brooklyn Center for thePerforming Arts will present a play based on the first volume ofThe Chronicles of Narnia, depicting the adventures of four siblingsevacuated to the English countryside during WW II.
