It was hot, hot, hot at Bethlehem Lutheran Church last Sundayevening, as Ridgeites gathered for a tribute to legendary jazzsinger Peggy Lee
A performance by impersonator, Robert Carlsen, 71, who hailsfrom Bay Ridge, was one of the highlights of the April 3 eventhosted by the Scandinavian East Coast Museum and held at church,which is located at Ovington and Fourth Avenues. The evening’sentertainment also included a Peggy Lee impersonation contest, andnumerous other performances.
Lee is not the only person Carlsen does. Other artists in hisrepertoire include the likes of Lady Gaga and the prince of pop,Michael Jackson.
