Ever since its formation in 1945, The Salaam Club of New Yorkhas celebrated the cultural heritage of Brooklyn’s Middle Easternpopulation. The organization is active within the Bay Ridgecommunity, last year raising $20,000 for the Guild for ExceptionalChildren.
On June 23, the organization gave away four scholarships to localstudents, Katherine Coussa, Anthony El Houavek, Charles Huddad andRyan Kieran.Salaam Club awards four local student scholarships
