A local supermarket – Almonte’s Food Dynasty – celebrated itsfirst anniversary sale on Saturday, July 30, with a communitybarbecue complete with DJ entertainment, kid-friendly activitiesand plenty to munch on.
The event, which took place in the supermarket’s parking area,featured interactive contests and raffles presented by DJ GoumbaJohnny, entertainment for children, live music, giveaways, in-storepromotions, and some special guests – including firefighters fromlocal stations. Attendees also ate complimentary food from nationalbrands, including Boars Head, Frito-Lay and Pepsi.
Bensonhurst residents enjoyed more than just a day of fun attheir local supermarket. Along with Saturday’s celebration, FoodDynasty also held a week-long sale.
