Local agency looks for Sunset Park Santas

‘Tis the season for giving and, as usual, local communityleaders are taking that maxim seriously.

Community Board Seven’s 24th annual Holiday Gift Drive is open fordonations of unwrapped new toys or clothes to the CB 7 office at43rd Street and Fourth Avenue from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday toFriday, through December 17.

The gifts should be appropriate for children, infants through age12, and will be donated through several local human serviceagencies.

This year, with the economy in turmoil, it is especially importantthat those who can share their blessings and help spread the spiritof the season with those who are a little less fortunate, saidDistrict Manager Jeremy Laufer.
