Crawl for a Cause: Aidan Crowley

Last week, Ridgeites banded together to help a few of our own, the victims of the 81st Street fire. On July 8, Salty Dog overflowed with those eager to help the four families who were most affected by the devastating fire, proving that the residents of the Ridge take care of their own.

Next month, the Ridge will host a bar crawl for another great cause. The Crawl for a Cause, in honor of two-year-old, Aidan Crowley, will take place on August 11.

For the price of a $20 ticket, crawlers will join a tour of PipinÂ’s, Kettle Black, Harp, Pour House, Bean Post and Three Jolly Pigeons, between 3 and 9 p.m. Wristbands will be made available and attendees will be offered drink specials at each stop on the crawl.

The crawl will benefit Aidan Crowley, who will have his second of three necessary open heart surgeries in September. His third and hopefully, final open heart surgery will be necessary when he is only three years old.

Friends and neighbors of the Crowley family are eager to come out and support this very young warrior, and his brave family.

Next month, join the Ridge on yet another night dedicated to helping our own. For more information, visit the Facebook event page at http://www.facebook.com/events/389707587759452/.
