Police Officer Brett Healy was recognized for his arrest of two young men for allegedly robbing and assaulting a pedestrian near the Hamilton Avenue footbridge, on Carroll Street between Van Brunt Avenue and Columbia Street.
The victim was approached at around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19, by two teenagers, one who grabbed him from behind, while the other punched him from the front.
Officer Healy managed to track down and, following a positive ID from the victim, arrest both.
