Dyker Dental Services (D.D.S.), the dental practice of brothers Joseph T. Izzo, D.D.S. and Steven Izzo, D.D.S. has been serving patients in Brooklyn for the past 35 years.

Bensonhurst natives, Dr. Joe and Dr. Steve, as their patients so fondly call them, took over the dental office of Drs. Anthony and Philip Egitto, also brothers and Bensonhurst natives. That practice was located at 1792 70^th Street, across from Alba Pastry Shoppe, for decades. The office was moved in 2006 to 7810 13^th Avenue, in Dyker Heights.

D.D.S. offers general dentistry in all phases, including but not limited to restorative, esthetic, endodontic and prosthodontic services, including crowns, bridges, removable prosthetics and implants.

Dr. Steven Izzo has completed post-graduate courses in orthodontics (including Invisalign) and implant surgery. Dr. Joseph Izzo is currently an attending dentist at New York Methodist Hospital, where he oversees the prosthetic division. He is a fellow with the Academy of General Dentistry and was elected into the prestigious International College of Dentistry. The practice employs two dental hygienists, who offer Zoom Teeth Whitening along with establishing proper oral hygiene.

“We consider ourselves truly a family practice,” said office manager, Eileen Bobe, adding, “Our staff members speak Italian and Polish, and have been employed in our office for many years. Many family members, including family matriarch Florence Izzo, work in the practice. This lends itself to a warm and comforting environment.

“This environment has allowed our practice to establish relationships that have lasted many years, with patients traveling back to Brooklyn from places as far away as Florida and Arizona!” Bobe adds. “As busy as we usually are, we are always happy to welcome new patients.”
