Police found 32-year-old Melissa Torres dead inside the bathroom of her first floor apartment at 70 Clymer Street on Sunday morning, August 4, after responding to a 9-1-1 call for a wellness check from concerned friends or family.
Torres was found at around 7:30 a.m. and a man, reportedly her domestic partner, was later taken into custody, although the investigation is ongoing.
The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
