PHOTOS: Back-to-School Bash at Barclays Center

Brooklyn businesses and arts groups banded together to make the end of summer at least a little bit fun for kids with a Back-to-School Bash at Barclays Center this past Saturday, September 7.

Face painting, balloon artists, temporary tattoos, DIY friendship bracelets, a talent showcase, a back-to-school fashion show, outdoor games, food, school supplies, and prizes were all available at Barclays Center’s Daily News Plaza.

Participants included Puppetry Arts, Stork, Dancewave, New York Chess and Games, Modell’s Sporting Goods, the Brooklyn Nets Dance Team, and the BrooklyKnight—Brooklyn Nets’ superhero. LIU Brooklyn co-sponsored the event.

Food trucks included Mike N Willie’s, Carl’s Steaks, Valducci’s Original Pizza, Morris Grilled Cheese and Andy’s Italian Ices.
