Teenager injured in Fourth Avenue hit and run

According to Councilmember Gentile’s office, a teenage boy was hit by a car near 86th Street and 4th Avenue on Wednesday, September 11 around 5 p.m.

The boy is currently in the trauma unit with a fractured rib, with fluid and a laceration to his liver. Many witnesses saw the accident, but no one has come forward.

It was a dark colored blue or black car and it lost its side view mirror in the accident.
