The air may have been chilly but hearts were warm as the beribboned holiday tree in McKinley Park was set alight on the evening of December 11.
A grand party, sponsored by State Senator Marty Golden, included the opportunity to meet Santa, as well as plenty of hot chocolate and entertainment from local performers. It has become a great tradition here in our community to join together to celebrate the holidays, and give thanks for all the good in our lives, noted Golden, who said that between caroling, Santa and seasonal refreshments, the lighting help[s] us usher in this most magical time of year.A jolly old time at the McKinley Park tree lighting
