New MTA neighborhood subway maps debut in Brooklyn

The MTA is introducing new neighborhood maps to help commuters navigate the communities they visit or are moving into.

The first have been installed at five subway stations that intersect with the B44 Select Bus Service route between Williamsburg and Sheepshead Bay: Bedford-Nostrand Avenue G station, Nostrand Avenue 3 station, Nostrand Avenue A/C station, President Street 2/5 station, and Sterling Street 2/5 station.

The maps cover a roughly 12-block radius around each station, whereas previous/current maps covered a 15-to-30-block radius. All 468 stations will eventually have the new maps, which use the same base map as the DOT’s WalkNYC signs.
