Police Beat: 68th Precinct blotter

Between Sunday, September 7 and Sunday, September 14, the 68th Precinct received reports of three grand larcenies and one burglary. The 68thPrecinct serves Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights and Fort Hamilton.

ORDER TO GO

Sometime between 3:30 and 5 p.m. on Sunday, September 7, an eatery on Bay Ridge Parkway between Third Avenue and Ridge Boulevard was burglarized. According to the victim, when he returned to the business, an unknown perp had entered the restaurant by unknown means and removed $4,200 worth of electronic devices.

SMELLS FISHY

A local chain pharmacy at 13th Avenue and 70th Street was hit up for its fragrances, when an unknown male suspect entered the store on Sunday, September 7 at around 7:35 p.m. and removed $1,022 worth of cologne and perfume from the shelves. The perp placed the items into a bag, and fled.

STRIPPED CAR

A 2013 Honda Accord parked near 11th Avenue and 72nd Street was stripped of all four rims as well as one fog light, with the female victim discovering the theft on Wednesday, September 10 at around 9 p.m. The stolen property is valued over $3,300.

RIDING SHOT GUN

Sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Saturday September 13 and 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 14, a 2014 Corolla parked on the corner of Fourth Avenue and 67th Street, was stripped of its two passenger side rims and tires worth over $1,600.
