Due to capital construction work on the MTA New York City Transit subway system, this weekend will see service changes on affect 17 lines, including the R.
This work is part of NYC Transit’s ongoing Capital Rebuilding Program aimed at upgrading and maintaining our tracks, stations and signal systems in order to continue to provide our customers with safe and reliable service.
From 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12, Forest Hills-71 Av bound R trains run express from Queens Plaza to Forest Hills-71 Av.
In addition, from 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12, Brooklyn-bound R trains skip 49 St.
