Calling all craft beverage connoisseurs.
The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce will bring the first-ever statewide craft beer festival, CHEERS NY, to Industry City from Friday, October 2 through Sunday, October 4.
According to organizers, the first-of-its-kind affair – held in conjunction with the Empire State Development Corporation and Taste NY – will pair makers with consumers to celebrate the best of New York’s vineyards, breweries, orchards and farmsteads, all while presenting an array of state-made craft beverages from beer and cider to wine and spirits – and even hors d’oeuvres.
CHEERS NY will also include a Brooklyn Eats Marketplace, featuring food options from the borough’s premiere manufacturers, as well as a beer garden.
“CHEERS NY will be an event unlike any Brooklyn has ever seen, full of amazing drinks and food and great music,” said Chamber President and CEO Carlo Scissura. “New York State and Brooklyn have so much to offer, in terms of high-quality craft beverages and food, that there’s no way any attendee will be disappointed.”
Tickets are $50 and include a souvenir tasting glass, samplings from over 50 regional wineries, distilleries and breweries, and access to a beer hall and courtyard, outdoor games and the marketplace. They are available both online and at the door. Tickets to just the beer hall and marketplace – minus the tastings – can also be purchased for $10.
CHEERS NY will be held at the Factory Floor at Industry City, located at 241 37th Street.
