Two nights of work scheduled for the Marine Parkway-Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge

MTA Bridges and Tunnels will be doing work on the Marine Parkway-Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge this week.

According to the MTA, the agency will be conducting multiple intermittent test lifts from 12:01 a.m. to 5 a.m. on Thursday, March 3, and again on Friday, March 4, for necessary maintenance work.

Each lift will last approximately 20 minutes.

Motorists looking to avoid delays should look to the Cross Bay Veterans Memorial Bridge as an alternate route.
