Uber driver assaulted on Ridge corner

A 31-year-old male Uber driver was assaulted on the northeast corner of Fourth Avenue and 73rd Street on Sunday, November 13, cops say.

According to reports, the driver was approached by a 35-year old man at around 3:45 a.m. who began fighting with him over his car.

The man then allegedly punched the  31-year-old with a closed fist – while holding a key within his fingers – and caused cuts to the victim’s cheek.

Shortly after, the driver identified the alleged perp to cops, and he was arrested on assault charges.
