A 62-year-old man was arrested for allegedly assaulting a 52-year-old man with a razor, cane and screwdriver near Fourth Avenue and 61st Street earlier this month.
Reports claim that, on Tuesday, May 9 at around 6:52 p.m., after the victim got into an argument with the man, the alleged attacker struck him with the wooden cane and slashed his wrist with a razor. As the man was about to lunge at him with a screwdriver, cops say, the victim’s 21-year-old son stopped the assailant.
Cops later arrested a suspect who the victim claims has been a constant problem near the area.
The victim, who sustained cuts to the wrist, was taken to NYU Lutheran Medical Center.
