A man was stabbed in the abdomen following a dispute in front of a restaurant in Bay Ridge Mother’s Day morning.
Police say that the 29-year-old victim exited Mandato Mexican Restaurant (located at 7218 Third Avenue) on Sunday, May 14 at approximately 4:45 a.m. and got into a dispute with the perp while walking to a taxi. The alleged assailant then proceeded to stab the victim on the left side of his lower waist, according to cops, and fled northbound on Third Avenue in a white SUV.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his 30s, 5’9” tall and 180 pounds.
The incident comes several months after a shooting and stabbing inside a store located across the street at 7301 Third Avenue left four people injured.
