A 31-year-old man had a baseball bat swung at him by another man who was attempting to steal his bicycle and cell phone on Monday, July 17 at 86th Street and 24th Avenue.
Cops say the perp, who’s around 35 years old, had taken the victim’s bike. As he rode away, he fell off the bike. When the victim approached him to get it back, the perp swung the bat at him, causing the victim to drop his cellphone. The crook grabbed the phone and fled the scene on foot.
