Cops say a man was found stabbed to death in Sunset Park early Thursday morning.
According to police, on Thursday, August 2 at around 9:55 a.m., officers responded to a 911 call of an assault at a residence near Fifth Avenue and 59th Street, within the confines of the 72nd Precinct.
Upon arrival, authorities discovered a man lying on the ground unconscious and unresponsive with multiple stab wounds to his neck, chest and head.
Emergency Medical Services transported the victim – whose identity has been withheld pending proper family notification – to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn, where he was pronounced dead.
Cops say there are no arrests at this time and that the investigation is ongoing.
