BUS PICKPOCKET

A 36-year-old woman told police that she was robbed while on theB63 bus heading northbound on Fifth Avenue last Monday morning.

The suspect is said to have removed the woman’s wallet frominside her purse before fleeing on foot westbound on 77th Streetjust before 11:30 a.m. on March 21. Stolen were $60 in cash, twocredit cards, one New York State ID card and a Medicaid IDcard.

The suspect is described is a 5’7 male weighing 175 pounds andwas last seen wearing a beige hooded jacket.

HI-TECH THEFT

Around $2,150 worth of electronics were stolen from an apartmenton 62nd Street and 10th Avenue, police said.

The three laptops and a still camera were reportedly taken onThursday, March 24 after the owner returned home to find the frontdoor ajar and the bedrooms ransacked. There was minor damage to thedoor and door jamb. Neighbors did not report noticing anythingamiss and there was no video surveillance on the premises.

STOLEN DRUGS

Police are reviewing surveillance tapes after an unknown suspectbroke into a pharmacy at 8802 Fourth Avenue and stole $1,000 worthof items, including insulin and Viagra.

The suspect smashed through the glass front door of EZ Pharmacyin the early morning hours on Thursday, March 24 and took a cashregister worth $800, $200 in cash, and doses of insulin and themale-enhancement drug Viagra.

CAR BURGLARY

A 40-year-old Dyker Heights man woke up to discover his carbroken into and several credit cards and watches stolen, saidpolice.

The car was parked on the southeast corner of 13th Avenue and85th Street last Wednesday, March 23 when someone broke the frontpassenger side window and stole two watches worth $40, four creditcards and a debit card.

Two of those cards had been used at 4 a.m. at a 7-Elevenconvenience store in Bensonhurst. Police from the 62nd and 68thPrecincts have been notified.
