Ridge Nightlife and Dining: A Night Out With The Chef

I’m sure that by the time you read this, you will have gobbledthe final summer hot dogs and corn on the cob at the last barbecueof the season. Summer, sweet summer, is slipping away and the topsof Brooklyn trees are beginning to sport glistening golden and redtips as autumn is creeping our way.

Next week, Boulevard Books and Cafe LLC will host a great event tokick off fall right. On Friday, September 16 at 6:00 p.m., localchef and author Jamie-Lynn Mollo will host A Night Out with theChef.

The event will begin with a cooking demo at Boulevard Books whereMollo will share secrets from her book Feel Good Cooking. Thetalented Mollo is making a name for herself in the Brooklynculinary world as one of the most creative and driven young chefsaround. Her book is packed with easy and fun recipes to spice upyour kitchen.

The $22 demo will include a copy of the book and free appetizersand wine at Boulevard before a shuttle will transport attendees toJamie-Lynn’s Kitchen for the second half of the event. For $40,attendees will get a three course dinner, wine, and musicalentertainment by the talented singers of the BrooklynONE Theatergroup. Jamie-Lynn’s is fast becoming one of Bensonhurst’s bestrestaurants with an eclectic menu, homey atmosphere, and excitingcalendar of events like this one.
