A new store catering to women has arrived in Bay Ridge.
Tara Nicolle’s Lingerie Shop held its grand opening on October27. Tara Nicolle Curatola, owner of the new business, states thatshe was a manager in the corporate America world when she decideda change of pace was in order.
Curatola says that she settled on opening a lingerie store afternoticing that there were limited options for women to shop forintimate apparel. I opened the store for two reason, one, theneighborhood really needs one and two, I know the struggles womengo through to find the right bra and fit, remarks the proudproprietor.
It wasn’t an easy start for Curatola, who recollects having tobattle flood waters before opening. Despite this struggle, theboutique’s doors are now open and ready to serve customers of allsizes.
Curatola said that the store carries stock from brands likePanache, Alegro, Hanky Panky, Jezebel, Felina and the MarilynMonroe collection, with items that range in size from A to doubleK. In addition, the shop features a line of post-surgical garmentsfor women, which will make buying such items more personal andcomfortable, remarks Curatola.
Tara Nicolle’s Lingerie Shop is located at 275 74th Street.
