Downtown steakhouse shuts its doors

Morton’s Steakhouse, a prime ingredient in the downtown Brooklynrenaissance since it opened on Adams Street just three years ago,has closed up shop.

The eatery shut its doors on February 1. A call to therestaurant’s Manhattan location elicited the information that therestaurant was not expected to reopen.

There are three New York locations remaining, one in Manhattan,one in Great Neck and one in White Plains.
