Two people were rushed to a local hospital after a front endcollision at the intersection of Bay Parkway and 61st Street at6:15 p.m. on Saturday, February 11. The two vehicles involved – a2004 GMC Envoy SUV and a 1994 Nissan Quest Minivan — both sufferedsevere front-end damage. The force of the accident allegedly sentthe SUV sailing over the curve and onto the sidewalk. Police andEMS teams arrived minutes later.
