Are you looking for a chocolate love affair? How about a relaxing coffee break? Then look no further than 16 Handles, the newest frozen yogurt location to hit Williamsburg.

Natalie Vinegar, a marketing spokesperson for 16 Handles, confirmed that their 25^th store, will open at the end of July in a still to-be-determined location.

Previous grand openings have had face painters for a day of family-friendly activities and discounts, so Vinegar said to keep an eye out on what exactly will happen to surprise residents.

A Park Slope store may also open later this year.

While 16 Handles has their signature ‘core’ flavors such as Vanilla Sky and Chocolate Love Affair, customers can come in and request their favorites and can also look forward to weekly flavor changes. New flavors come in every 4-6 weeks and while certain stores offer cakes, a new cake program is being implemented.

The 16 Handles website covers every aspect of the stores such as all of the flavors, toppings, merchandise, and even the step by step guide how to apply for a franchise. Their website has three different icons, a balloon, a bike, and a cake, symbolizing which services each store provides. Balloons indicate a party room is available, a bike means they deliver, and a cake icon tells you there are take home cakes, quarts, and confections.

Flavors are broken up in different categories such as non-fat, non-dairy sorbet, no sugar added, and premium low fat. There are also seasonal flavors, such as American Apple Pie, Fist Pumpkin, Gingerbread Man, Eggnog, Peppermint Stick, Butter Brickle, and Carrot Cake.

Non-dairy sorbet flavors include Clockwork Orange, Mango Tango, Strawberry Lemonade, Berry Medley, Pomegranate Raspberry, Watermelon, Kiwi Strawberry, and Fruit Punch TKO.

Those looking for a sugar-free treat aren’t left out, either. It’s a tough decision between Blueberry Tease, Praline, Strawberry Banana, Chocolate Eruption, Irish Mint, NY Cheesecake, Strawberry Fields, and Vanilla Sky.

Premium low fat flavors are just as enticing with names such as Birthday Cake, Coconut Cast Away, Peanut Butter Confession, Red Velvet Cake, Heath Coffee, or a little Dulce De Leche.

There are 11 fresh fruit and 42 dry fruit toppings, from the unique lychee and vanilla clodhoppers to the classic strawberry and rainbow cookie.

There are also T-shirts available with slogans such as “I Handled It,” as well as gift cards and biodegradable cups and spoons that are part of 16 Handles’ “You Snack We Give Back” effort aimed at ‘changing the way you do frozen yogurt’ as well as ‘changing the world we live in.’ They help plant 16 trees daily, through WWW.TREESFORTHEFUTURE.ORG.
