Friday may be around the corner, but don’t count Thursday out for fun events to do:

  • From noon – 2 p.m. Dumbo Developers, a group of software creators in Dumbo NY and the greater Brooklyn area who love to the share their knowledge will be at Galapagos Art Space. RSVP for tickets.
  • Tonight is the final Seaside Summer Concert of the summer and the performer featured is none other than Gladys Knight and the Commodores! The show is FREE and begins at 7:30 p.m. on  West 21st Street and Surf Avenue in Coney Island.
  • Rooftop Films, NYC & Company, and The Staten Island Yankees present the St. George Film Series. Head to Staten Island to see classic baseball films FREE, in Citizen’s Bank Ballpark, home of the Staten Island Yankees. It’s a beautiful location for a film screening, with a lovely view of Lower Manhattan and the water, and the Staten Island Ferry is also FREE, so come on out and enjoy fun films in Staten Island. On Friday, there will be a screening of “The Sandlot” at the Richmond County Bank Ballpark. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., movie begins at 8:30 p.m.
