“The trade show was packed with 50 really interesting Brooklyn vendors,” said Carlo Scissura, president and CEO of the Chamber. “It was really outstanding.”

The new Chamber chair, Denise Arbesu, was elected and a special Mobile App was unveiled. Brooklyn is the first Chamber in the city to create one. Arbesu is the first female and first Hispanic chair of the Brooklyn Chamber.

Keynote speaker Senator Charles Schumer, “really got the crowd going,” Scissura said, talking about economics on both the local and national scale.

“That was exciting. There was a great energy, a buzz,” he recalled. “People got to network and a lot of business got done. It was just very, very successful.”
