Raw/Cooked Series To Enter Second Season

Raw/Cooked, an exhibition that gathers and publicizes the work of both emerging and established Brooklyn artists, will enter its second season at the Brooklyn Museum on November 16. It will be launched alongside Rumination, a presentation of work by Bed-Stuy-based artist Duron Jackson.

It will display a series of four exhibitions by under-the-radar Brooklyn artists who have been invited by the Brooklyn Museum to showcase their first major museum exhibitions. The season lasts through February 10, 2013.

Raw/Cooked is organized by Eugenie Tsai, John and Barbara Vogelstein Curator of Contemporary Art, Brooklyn Museum, and sponsored by Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
