Hollywood and Brooklyn merged at the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce’s Winter Gala, held on Thursday, December 20 at the El Caribe Country Club.
Over 500 of the borough’s movers and shakers flocked to the movie-premiere themed evening, breaking attendance records. Honorees were from Brooklyn’s expanding movie and television industry, including Brooklyn College Graduate School of Cinema, Gina and Tony Argento of Broadway Stages, David and Douglas Steiner of Steiner Studios, and Katherine Oliver, commissioner of the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment.
