Business networking comes to Bay Ridge

CPEX Real Estate, a commercial real estate firm located in Downtown Brooklyn, is hosting a business networking event to be held at Cebu Restaurant in Bay Ridge on Thursday, February 28.

Founded in 2008, CPEX provides a full range of services for both real estate and business owners in all five boroughs as well as the state of New Jersey.

“We have a very interesting model. We operate on an investment banking platform approach,” explained Greg Roberts, CPEX’s Chief Operating Officer.

Roberts explained that each team is focused on a “specific business line, product type and definitive specialization in each market we cover.

“Our services include investment sales, leasing, acquisitions and advisory, as well as research,” he went on.

Roberts said that since the company launched, CPEX has grown 150 percent year over year. CPEX hopes to expand its base even more with this Bay Ridge networking event.

“It’s a chance for us to introduce ourselves to the neighborhood,” he said.

CPEX is inviting area business owners to attend.

“We want to see what’s going on in their neighborhood and how we can work with them to help expand their businesses,” he said.

The event will take place at Cebu Restaurant on the corner of Third Avenue and 88th Street on Thursday, February 28 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Other partners in the event include The Home Reporter & Sunset News, The Brooklyn Spectator, The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, The Merchants of Third Avenue and the Fifth Avenue BID.
