Nemo’s over; What to do this weekend

Let the shoveling and coffee-runs begin.

Now that the majority of snowfall from Nemo has fallen, we have the whole weekend ahead of us once we finish digging ourselves out of the house. But do you know which weekend events are still happening, and which are cancelled? Here’s a rundown of some options:

SATURDAY

  • ALL DAY – Most NYC Greenmarkets are OPEN as scheduled; in Brooklyn, this list includes the locations at Grand Army Plaza, Fort Greene Park, Greenpoint/McCarren Park, and Brooklyn Borough Hall. However, food scrap and textile collections are NOT happening at these locations.
  • Noon to 3 p.m. – Prospect Park is having a family-fun SNOW DAY, with sledding, games, and complimentary hot chocolate! Gather near the Tennis House
