A new four-story, 82-room boutique hotel may be coming to 642 Union Street by early 2015, courtesy of the minds behind the nearby Union Hotel, and Manhattan dining spaces Smith & Mills, Super Linda, and the Beatrice Inn.
Restaurateur Matt Abramcyk and Union Hotel developer Alec Shtromandel released a “working” project memorandum among real estate investors that was obtained by Capital New York on March 13.
The memo reportedly described a $13 million project that needs $2.25 million in equity capital, and noted that “The Abramcyk Group is acting as lead designer on the Project, responsible for the design of all private and public spaces as well as food & beverage development.”
